Description
Spook up your Halloween party with these fun and delicious Cheesy Halloween Breadstick Bones! Golden perfection, cheesy goodness, and a hint of garlic for a ghoulishly good snack.
Ingredients
1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp garlic powder 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tbsp dried parsley (optional) Marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Unroll the pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface. Stretch it slightly to form a rectangular shape. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and garlic powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the pizza dough. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the dough. If using, sprinkle with dried parsley. Cut the dough lengthwise into 12-14 strips, about 1 inch wide. Take each strip and stretch it slightly. Pinch one end to form a “knob” (the bone joint) and flatten the other end to resemble a bone end. Twist the middle slightly if desired. Arrange the breadstick bones on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
These Cheesy Halloween Breadstick Bones are perfect for a spooky appetizer. For extra creepiness, you can add a small black olive “eye” to the knob end before baking. They’re sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike!
