Ingredients

Scale

For the Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Streusel Topping:

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup packed light brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold, cut into small pieces

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.

2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.

4. Pour wet into dry and mix just until combined (do not overmix).

5. For the cinnamon swirl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.

6. Spread half the batter in the pan; drizzle half the swirl over it.

7. Spread remaining batter on top; drizzle remaining swirl.

8. For streusel, combine flour, brown sugar, and granulated sugar; cut in cold butter until crumbly.

9. Sprinkle streusel evenly over the batter.

10. Bake 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

11. Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Add a simple glaze (powdered sugar + a little milk/vanilla) over the cooled cake.

Great way to use extra cinnamon; this cake is a crowd-pleaser and freezes well.
