Description
Spooky and delicious these Graveyard Pudding Cookie Cups are perfect for Halloween. A rich chocolate cookie base holds creamy chocolate pudding topped with crushed cookies and gummy worms for a fun graveyard effect.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 package instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9 oz
2 cups cold milk
1 package Oreo cookies crushed 15.35 oz
Gummy worms for decoration
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F 190°C and line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners.
2. Cream butter granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Beat in eggs one at a time then mix in vanilla.
4. Whisk flour cocoa powder baking soda and salt in a separate bowl.
5. Stir dry ingredients into the wet just until combined.
6. Press about 2 tablespoons of dough into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup to form a shell.
7. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are set. If centers puff press them down gently with a spoon. Cool completely in the pan.
8. Whisk pudding mix and cold milk for 2 minutes then let stand 5 minutes to thicken.
9. Spoon 2–3 tablespoons pudding into each cooled cookie cup.
10. Top with crushed Oreos to create dirt and add one or two gummy worms.
11. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For an extra spooky touch add small cookie tombstones or candy pumpkins.
Best enjoyed the same day but can be refrigerated up to 2 days in an airtight container.
