Description
Spooky Spider Web Dip is a fun and easy Halloween appetizer, perfect for any eerie gathering. Made with layers of creamy dip and topped with a hauntingly good spiderweb design.
Ingredients
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Black olive, for spider decoration
Salsa or black bean dip, for web design
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
2. Stir in chives, drained tomatoes with green chilies, and cheddar.
3. Spread the mixture evenly onto a round serving platter.
4. Spoon salsa or black bean dip into concentric circles over the top.
5. Using a toothpick, drag lines from the center outward to create a web.
6. Place a whole black olive in the center for the spider’s body.
7. Slice another olive into thin strips for legs and arrange around the body.
8. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes; serve with crackers, tortilla chips, or veggie sticks.
