Description

Spooky, delicious Halloween Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies! A classic chocolate chip cookie dough encases a whole Oreo, perfect for a festive treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar 2 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips 18-24 Halloween-themed Oreo cookies

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix. Fold in the chocolate chips. Take a spoonful of cookie dough and flatten it in your hand. Place one Halloween Oreo in the center. Carefully wrap the cookie dough around the Oreo, ensuring it’s completely sealed. Repeat with remaining dough and Oreos. Place the stuffed cookies on the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between them. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still soft. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

These Halloween Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies are a fantastic treat for parties or just a fun baking day. For extra festive flair, use orange and black sprinkles on top before baking. You can also experiment with different flavored Oreos!
