Ingredients
Mummy Dogs
• 12 hot dogs
• 1 sheet puff pastry or 1 can crescent dough cut into thin strips
• Yellow mustard or candy eyes
Witch Finger Pretzels
• 20 pretzel rods
• 12 oz green candy melts (or white chocolate tinted green)
• 20 slivered almonds
Spiderweb Dip
• 2 cups guacamole
• 1 cup sour cream (loosened with 1–2 tsp milk)
• Blue corn tortilla chips for serving
Eyeball Caprese Skewers
• 20 cherry tomatoes
• 20 ciliegine mozzarella balls
• 20 small basil leaves
• 2 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
Banana Ghosts & Orange Pumpkins
• 6 bananas halved
• Mini chocolate chips for eyes
• 8–10 tangerines or clementines peeled
• 2 celery stalks cut into small “stems”
Pantry & Seasoning
• Olive oil spray (optional)
• Pinch of salt and black pepper
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment. Prep all garnish bowls so assembly is quick.
2. Make mummy dogs: Wrap each hot dog with thin pastry strips leaving small gaps for “eyes.” Place on sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until golden. Dot on mustard or add candy eyes.
3. Make witch fingers: Melt green candy melts per package. Dip pretzel rods halfway; press a slivered almond on the tip as a nail. Lay on parchment to set. Drizzle a little extra melt near the “knuckle” if desired.
4. Make spiderweb dip: Spread guacamole in a shallow round dish. Pipe thin concentric circles of sour cream then drag a toothpick from center outward to create a web. Serve with blue corn chips.
5. Assemble eyeball caprese: Skewer tomato mozzarella basil. Dot a tiny balsamic “pupil” or press a sesame seed in the center.
6. Assemble ghosts and pumpkins: Press two mini chips into each banana half for eyes. For pumpkins push a small celery piece into the top of each peeled tangerine as a stem.
7. Plate the platter: Arrange a central bowl of spiderweb dip with chips then cluster mummy dogs witch fingers caprese skewers banana ghosts and pumpkins. Sprinkle pinch of salt and pepper where needed and serve immediately.
Notes
Make-ahead: Bake mummy dogs just before serving. Witch fingers set at room temp in 20 minutes; can be made 1 day ahead. Caprese and fruit are best day-of.
Allergy swaps: Use gluten-free dough and pretzels if needed. Dairy-free dip works with DF sour cream.
