Description
Hot chocolate bombs are chocolate spheres filled with cocoa mix and marshmallows that melt into a rich, cozy drink when added to hot milk. Perfect for gifting or sipping on cold days.
Ingredients
1 cup chocolate (dark, milk, or white)
2 tbsp hot cocoa mix per bomb
Mini marshmallows
Optional: crushed peppermint, sprinkles, cinnamon
Silicone half-sphere mold
Instructions
1. Melt chocolate in the microwave or double boiler.
2. Brush chocolate into silicone molds. Chill until set.
3. Remove chocolate shells. Fill half with cocoa mix and marshmallows.
4. Warm a plate. Melt rim of top shell and press to seal.
5. Let cool completely. Store in a cool, dry place.
6. To serve: Place in mug and pour hot milk over.
Notes
Use real chocolate instead of candy melts for best flavor.
Add creative fillings like caramel chips or crushed candy canes.
Store in airtight container if not using right away.
