Description

This keto hot chocolate recipe is a creamy, low carb drink perfect for anyone following a keto diet. Made with unsweetened cocoa, heavy cream, and keto-friendly sweeteners, it’s the ideal sugar-free comfort drink for cold days.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 to 2 tablespoons erythritol or keto sweetener

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Pinch of salt (optional)

Keto whipped cream for topping (optional)

Sprinkle of unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Heat the almond milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add the unsweetened cocoa powder and keto sweetener.

3. Whisk continuously until smooth and well combined.

4. Add heavy cream and optional vanilla extract or pinch of salt.

5. Continue heating until hot but not boiling.

6. Pour the keto hot chocolate into a mug.

7. Top with keto whipped cream or sprinkle cocoa powder if desired.

8. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

You can swap almond milk for coconut milk for extra creaminess.

For a richer flavor, add more cocoa powder or a splash of MCT oil.

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge and reheated.
