Ingredients
2 pounds Roma tomatoes (or 1 large can of crushed tomatoes)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 pinch erythritol or monk fruit (optional)
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
2. Add garlic powder and onion powder, sauté until fragrant.
3. Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste.
4. Season with oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
5. Add erythritol or monk fruit if desired.
6. Simmer for 20 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Blend for smoother texture or leave chunky.
8. Stir in apple cider vinegar before serving (optional).
Notes
