Description
These spooky Classic Monster Cupcakes are perfect for Halloween parties or themed events!
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Line cupcake pan with paper liners.
3. In a large bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
4. Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Mix until well combined.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Fill each liner halfway with batter.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
8. Top each cupcake with mini marshmallows.
9. Broil for 1–2 minutes until marshmallows are toasted.
Notes
Decorate with candy eyes and colored frosting to create different monster faces!
Make sure to let cupcakes cool completely before decorating.
