Description

This quick and easy peanut butter bread is made with pantry staples and baked to moist, nutty perfection. Perfect for breakfast, snacks, or a cozy treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

¾ cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

½ cup sugar

1 cup milk

1 egg (optional)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan. In one bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another, mix peanut butter, sugar, milk, and egg until smooth. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently. Do not overmix. Pour batter into pan and smooth the top. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Use natural peanut butter for less sugar and more flavor. Banana or chocolate chips can be added for variety. Store at room temp for 3 days or freeze slices.
