Description
Smash burger tacos combine the best of both worlds, giving you juicy beef, crispy edges, and cheesy taco perfection in every bite.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20)
6 small flour tortillas
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
6 slices American or cheddar cheese
Shredded lettuce
Pickles, sliced
Burger sauce or mayo
Cooking oil or spray
Instructions
1. Heat skillet or Blackstone on high heat.
2. Form small balls of beef, about 2 ounces each.
3. Place tortilla on the hot surface, add beef ball on top.
4. Smash beef flat into tortilla using a spatula.
5. Cook 2-3 minutes until beef edges are crisp.
6. Flip tortilla and add cheese on top of beef.
7. Cook another 1-2 minutes to melt cheese.
8. Remove and top with lettuce, pickles, and sauce.
9. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
Use wax paper between meat and spatula to avoid sticking.
Customize toppings with jalapeños or grilled onions.
Swap tortillas for low-carb versions if preferred.
