Ingredients
  

Cheese Base

  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin) Any soft cheese spread can be used.

Fresh Ingredients

  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped Use fresh, ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped Add just before serving for maximum freshness.

Flavor Enhancer

  • 2 Tablespoons Balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction A little goes a long way; adjust to taste.

Serving Options

  • to taste Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette Serve alongside the dip.

Preparation

  • Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving about a ¼ inch around the edge empty.
  • Evenly sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes over the cheese.
  • Sprinkle the fresh basil on top.
  • Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the whole plate, using just a little.
  • Serve with pita chips, crackers, or spread on thin slices of baguette.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the Bruschetta Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Keep dip separate from chips to prevent sogginess. Give it a gentle stir before serving again. You can also mix in minced garlic or a dash of pepper for added flavor.
