Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • red pepper flakes Optional: a pinch for a little heat

For serving

  • baguette slices
  • crackers
  • vegetable sticks

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, Monterey Jack cheese, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, minced garlic, chives, parsley, and onion powder.
  • Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste; optionally, add red pepper flakes for heat. Mix all ingredients until well combined.

Cooking

  • Transfer the mixture into your slow cooker insert and spread it evenly.
  • Cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1-1.5 hours, stirring occasionally. The dip is ready when bubbly and smooth.

Serving

  • Give the dip a final stir and serve warm directly from the crockpot. Serve with baguette slices, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks.

Notes

For best results, allow the cream cheese to soften completely at room temperature before mixing. You can adjust the amount of garlic and herbs to your preference. This dip reheats well in the microwave or slow cooker on low.
