Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes, if it has a preheat function.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.
  • Drizzle each fillet lightly with olive oil for flavor and to prevent sticking.
  • Combine garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning evenly over both sides of the salmon, pressing lightly so it adheres.
  • Place the seasoned salmon fillets, skin-side down, in a single layer in the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  • Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, until it flakes easily and reaches 145°F (63°C) internally.
  • Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for a minute or two.
  • Serve the salmon, optionally garnished with fresh lemon wedges and dill.

Notes

Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of your salmon fillets and the specific model of your air fryer. Always ensure salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
