  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for cooking beef
  • 8 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup pickled dill chips thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped white onion optional
  • 8 American cheese slices (or cheddar)

Secret Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp French dressing (or Catalina for a sweeter note)
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp finely minced white onion (for sauce)
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • cayenne pepper Pinch (optional, for a subtle kick)

  • Whisk together mayonnaise, French dressing, relish, minced onion, vinegar, sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne; refrigerate for 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  • Brown ground beef in olive oil, seasoning with salt and pepper; drain excess grease and set aside.
  • Shred lettuce, slice pickles, and chop white onion for the wrap assembly.
  • Spread secret sauce on a tortilla, layer with cheese, beef, lettuce, pickles, and onion.
  • Fold in sides, then roll tightly; optionally grill seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  • Repeat assembly and grilling for remaining wraps, then slice diagonally and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra crunch, add a layer of crushed tortilla chips inside the wrap before rolling. You can also toast the tortillas briefly before assembling for better pliability.
