  • 1 all-beef hot dog
  • 1 poppy seed bun

Toppings

  • Yellow mustard
  • Chopped white onion
  • Sweet pickle relish bright green preferred
  • Tomato slices or wedges
  • Pickled sport peppers
  • Celery salt Dash of

Preparation

  • Cook the all-beef hot dog using your preferred method (steaming, grilling, or boiling) until it is thoroughly heated.
  • Steam or lightly toast the poppy seed bun to prepare it for assembly.

Assembly

  • Place the cooked hot dog into the prepared poppy seed bun.
  • Apply a zigzag of yellow mustard across the top of the hot dog.
  • Sprinkle a generous amount of chopped white onion over the mustard.
  • Add a dollop of sweet pickle relish, preferably bright green.
  • Arrange tomato slices or wedges along one side of the hot dog.
  • Place 2-3 pickled sport peppers on the opposite side of the hot dog.
  • Finish by sprinkling a dash of celery salt over the entire hot dog.
