Classic Cranberry Cream Cheese Crescent Bites

  • 1 package Pillsbury Refrigerated Crescent Rolls (8-ounce)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar optional, for dusting

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough onto the prepared baking sheet and separate the triangles.
  • Place about one tablespoon of cream cheese mixture and 3-5 cranberries onto the wide end of each crescent triangle.
  • Roll up each crescent from the wide end towards the pointed end and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  • Brush the tops of the rolled crescents with melted butter.

Baking & Serving

  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  • Remove from oven, cool slightly on the baking sheet, then transfer to a wire rack; dust with powdered sugar, if desired, before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or orange zest to the cream cheese mixture. If using frozen cranberries, there's no need to thaw them beforehand.
