  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Notes

For an extra crispy topping, crush some cornflakes or potato chips and mix them with the melted butter before spreading over the potatoes. This recipe can be assembled ahead of time and refrigerated. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes if baking from cold.
