Chicken

  • 1.5 to 2 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts 3-4 pieces

Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika smoked or sweet
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Italian Herbs or mix of oregano, basil, thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper or to taste, freshly ground is best

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grab a baking dish large enough to hold the chicken breasts in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure a golden crust.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, then combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl, and sprinkle this seasoning evenly over both sides of the chicken.
  • Place the seasoned chicken in the baking dish in a single layer.
  • Bake for 18-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Resting & Serving

  • Remove the chicken from the oven, tent with foil, and let rest for 5-10 minutes to redistribute the juices.
