  • 8-12 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Milk or Half-and-Half
  • 1-2 cups Shredded Cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend
  • 1 cup Cooked Meat optional: diced ham, cooked sausage, crumbled bacon
  • 1 cup Vegetables optional: diced bell peppers, onions, spinach, mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil or Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • Optional seasonings Garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried herbs (like chives or parsley)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Sauté meat or hearty vegetables in olive oil or butter until tender and lightly browned, then add spinach and cook until wilted, squeezing out excess water.
  • Spread the cooked meat and/or vegetables-evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle with half of the shredded cheese.
  • Whisk together eggs, milk (or half-and-half), salt, pepper, and desired seasonings thoroughly.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the ingredients in the baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown and slightly puffed.

Notes
