  • 4-6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth for deglazing (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • If using frozen shrimp, thaw completely, then pat dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 60-90 seconds until fragrant.
  • Increase heat to medium-high, add seasoned shrimp in a single layer, and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Pour in white wine or chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits, and simmer for about 30 seconds.
  • Stir in fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve immediately.
