  • 1 medium yellow or white onion finely diced
  • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Bell Pepper any color, diced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Canned Diced Tomatoes undrained
  • 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil olive oil or avocado oil

  • Dice the onion and bell pepper, then mince the garlic. Gather all other canned goods and seasonings.
  • Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, break it apart, and cook until fully browned (5-7 minutes).
  • Carefully drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  • Add diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until softened, then stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute. Add diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried herbs, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes until flavors meld and sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.
  • Taste the skillet and adjust seasonings as desired.
  • Serve the skillet dinner immediately while hot.
