  • 1 large Egg

Instructions

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish or sheet.
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, rolled oats, egg, and seasoning; mix gently to avoid overmixing.
  • Shape the mixture into an even loaf, approximately 8-9 inches long and 4-5 inches wide, on the prepared baking dish or sheet.
  • Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes.
  • While the meatloaf bakes, whisk together ketchup and brown sugar or maple syrup for the glaze.
  • After initial baking, remove the meatloaf and spread the glaze evenly over the top.
  • Return the meatloaf to the oven for another 10-15 minutes, or until the glaze caramelizes and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Ensure not to overmix the ground turkey mixture to keep the meatloaf tender and moist. Resting the meatloaf after baking helps redistribute the juices, making it more flavorful and easier to slice.
