Equipment

  • Roasting pan
  • Medium bowl
  • Whisk
  • Meat thermometer

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless turkey breast
  • 1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a shallow roasting pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the cranberry sauce, orange juice, orange zest, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper to create the glaze.

Cooking

  • Place the turkey breast in the prepared roasting pan, then spread about half of the cranberry orange glaze over the turkey.
  • Roast for 60-75 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reads 165°F (74°C).
  • During the last 15-20 minutes of cooking, brush the remaining glaze over the turkey breast.

Resting and Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
  • Garnish with fresh rosemary, if desired, and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider brining the turkey breast overnight. Adjust cooking time based on the size and thickness of your turkey breast. This glaze also works well with pork loin!
