Instructions
Place the undrained cans of Great Northern beans directly into the bottom of your slow cooker.
Lay the chicken breasts or thighs directly on top of the beans.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is very tender.
Carefully remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it into bite-sized pieces using two forks.
Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir everything together until combined.
Ladle warm into bowls and serve with your favorite toppings.
