  • 4 Salmon Fillets (6-ounce) skin-on or skinless, about 1-inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper or to taste
  • Fresh Parsley or Dill For garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Cooking

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them in the prepared baking dish or on the baking sheet.
  • Spoon or brush the honey mustard sauce generously over each salmon fillet.
  • Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Finishing

  • For a crispier top, you can broil the salmon for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or dill, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the salmon to maintain its delicate texture. Adjust seasoning to your preference.
