Instructions

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add frozen potstickers and cook until bottoms are golden brown, then add ¼ cup water, cover, and steam until cooked through.
  • Remove potstickers and set aside. Add another 1 tablespoon of sesame oil to the same pan, then sauté chopped garlic and grated ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add mixed stir-fry vegetables to the pan and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are tender-crisp.
  • Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), rice vinegar, brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water or broth in a small bowl to create the sauce.
  • Pour the sauce over the vegetables and bring to a simmer. Whisk cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of cold water to create a slurry, then add it to the simmering sauce and stir until thickened.
  • Return the cooked potstickers to the pan with the sauced vegetables and toss everything together to coat evenly.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, or red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

Feel free to customize the vegetables based on what you have on hand. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic and ginger.
