  • 12-15 pieces Frozen Pork or Chicken Gyoza
  • 4 cups Chicken or Vegetable Broth low sodium preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 inch Fresh Ginger grated or finely minced, or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 clove Garlic minced, or 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 sliced Green Onions white and green parts separated
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach or Bok Choy roughly chopped, optional
  • Chili Oil or Sriracha for serving, optional

  • In a medium pot, combine broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the frozen gyoza and optional spinach or bok choy to the simmering broth.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5-7 minutes until gyoza are cooked and tender.
  • Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
  • Ladle into bowls, garnish with green onions, and add chili oil or Sriracha if desired for spice.

Notes

Adjust spice level with chili oil or Sriracha to your preference. For a richer flavor, consider using homemade broth.
