Equipment

  • Mini Muffin Tin
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Wire Rack

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry or crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 cup candied pecans

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease or line a mini muffin tin.
  • Thaw puff pastry or unroll crescent dough, then cut into 24 squares (approximately 2x2 inches).
  • Press one dough square into each mini muffin cup to form a well.

Assembly and Baking

  • Cut chilled brie into 1/2 to 3/4 inch cubes and place one cube in the center of each dough-lined cup.
  • Mix cranberry sauce with finely chopped rosemary and spoon about a teaspoon over the brie in each cup.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted and bubbly.

Finishing

  • Carefully remove from the muffin tin, cool slightly, and garnish with chopped candied pecans before serving warm.

Notes

Ensure brie is well chilled for easier cutting. For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cranberry mixture. You can assemble these ahead of time and bake just before serving for fresh, warm appetizers.
