  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and form a cohesive mixture. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  • In a separate shallow dish, combine the chopped pecans and fresh parsley. Roll the cheese ball in the pecan and parsley mixture, pressing gently to coat it evenly.
  • Wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
  • Serve the festive cheese ball with crackers, pita bread, or vegetable sticks.

Notes

For best results, prepare the cheese ball at least a few hours in advance to allow the flavors to deepen. You can also experiment with different types of nuts or herbs for coating. Consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for a subtle kick.
