  • Baking Sheet

Ingredients

Bruschetta

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 4 slices prosciutto, thinly sliced and cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle the baguette slices with olive oil and season them lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 5-7 minutes until they are lightly golden and toasted.
  • Remove the baguette from the oven and place a slice of Brie cheese on each toasted round.
  • Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the Brie is softened and slightly melty.
  • Remove from oven and top each bruschetta with a small dollop of cranberry sauce, then garnish with a piece of prosciutto and a sprinkle of fresh chopped rosemary.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer for your holiday gatherings.

Notes

For an extra touch of sweetness, a drizzle of balsamic glaze can be added over the cranberry sauce before garnishing. Ensure the prosciutto is very thinly sliced for the best texture and flavor. This appetizer can be partially prepared in advance; toast the baguette and slice the Brie ahead of time, then assemble and bake just before serving.
