Instructions

Monster Burgers

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and cut cheddar cheese into jagged monster teeth shapes.
  • Cook beef burger patties as directed, then slice burger buns and spread with ketchup and mayonnaise.
  • Place cooked patties on bun bottoms, add optional lettuce and tomato, and arrange cheese as teeth.
  • Create eyes using cucumber slices with black olives in the center, secured with toothpicks, and place on top to complete the monster look.

Spider Web Dip

  • Combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning in a bowl, then spread onto a round platter.
  • Warm and spread refried beans over the cream cheese, leaving a border, then garnish with shredded cheddar around the edges.
  • Mix guacamole ingredients, then pipe or spoon concentric circles onto the bean layer.
  • Use a toothpick to drag lines from the center outwards, creating a spider web design, and serve with tortilla chips.

Witch Finger Pretzels

  • Melt green candy melts according to package instructions.
  • Dip pretzel rods halfway into the melted candy, then attach a slivered almond as a "fingernail" before it sets.
  • Place dipped pretzels on parchment paper to cool and harden.

Mummy Dogs

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), unroll crescent dough, and cut into 2-3 lengthwise strips.
  • Wrap each hot dog with dough strips, overlapping slightly and leaving a small opening for the "face."
  • Place wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and heated through.
  • After baking, use mustard to draw two small dots for eyes on each mummy dog.

Ghostly Fruit Skewers

  • Thread alternating pieces of banana, marshmallow, and green grapes onto bamboo skewers.
  • Draw ghostly faces on the marshmallows using a food-safe marker or melted chocolate.

Pumpkin Veggie Tray

  • Arrange carrot sticks in a pumpkin shape on a platter, using a bowl of hummus as the stem.
  • Surround the carrot pumpkin with cucumber slices and bell pepper strips to create segments.
  • Place a small celery stem at the top of the hummus bowl and use olive or bell pepper pieces for a pumpkin face.

Bloody Worms in Dirt Cups

  • Prepare chocolate pudding, then crush chocolate sandwich cookies to resemble dirt.
  • Layer pudding and crushed cookies in clear cups, starting and ending with the cookie "dirt."
  • Drizzle raspberry sauce over the top for a "bloody" effect and garnish with gummy worms.

Stuffed Mushroom Eyeballs

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), clean mushrooms, and remove stems.
  • Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, chopped stems, olive oil, and Italian seasoning, then fill mushroom caps.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until tender and golden, then add a dollop of cream cheese to each.
  • Top with a sliced green olive for an "eyeball" and drizzle sriracha or red pepper sauce around it for a "bloody" effect.

Notes

For the Monster Burgers, use small cookie cutters to make the cheese teeth more uniform. For the Spider Web Dip, ensure the refried beans are warmed for easy spreading. When making Witch Finger Pretzels, work quickly as the candy melts will set fast. For the Mummy Dogs, adjust baking time depending on your oven. For Ghostly Fruit Skewers, melted chocolate can be a good alternative if a food-safe marker is unavailable. For the Pumpkin Veggie Tray, feel free to use other orange/green vegetables. For Bloody Worms in Dirt Cups, feel free to add more gummy worms for extra creepiness. For Stuffed Mushroom Eyeballs, ensure the mushroom stems are finely chopped for even mixing in the filling. Always allow cooked items to cool slightly before handling or serving, especially for children. Enjoy your spooky treats!
