  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder ceremonial grade recommended
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or other sweetener, to taste
  • 3/4 cup almond milk or milk of choice

Toppings (optional)

  • fresh berries
  • granola
  • nuts or seeds

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Combine all overnight oats ingredients in a jar or container.
  • Stir well to ensure everything is thoroughly mixed, breaking up any matcha clumps.
  • Cover the jar and refrigerate overnight, or for at least 4 hours, to allow the oats to soften and thicken.

Serving

  • In the morning, give the oats a good stir and add a splash more milk if desired for a creamier consistency.
  • Top with your favorite fresh berries, granola, nuts, or seeds, then serve chilled.

Notes

Adjust the amount of maple syrup to your sweetness preference, and feel free to experiment with different milk alternatives like soy or oat milk. For best results, use ceremonial grade matcha for a vibrant color and smooth flavor.
