  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup red grapes

Orange Fruits

  • 1/2 cantaloupe peeled, seeded, and cubed
  • 2 oranges peeled and segmented

Yellow Fruits

  • 1 mango peeled and sliced

Green Fruits

  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 2 kiwis peeled and sliced

Blue/Purple Fruits

  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup blackberries
  • 1 cup purple grapes

Dips (optional)

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hummus

Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash all fruits thoroughly, then hull and slice strawberries, segment oranges, cube cantaloupe, cut pineapple into triangles, and slice mango and kiwis.
  • For the optional honey-vanilla dip, whisk together Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract in a small bowl, then spoon chocolate hummus into another small bowl.

Arrangement

  • Visualize a large rainbow arch or stripes of color on your platter, following the order of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue/purple.
  • Arrange the red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, red grapes) in a curved line or section on one end of your platter.
  • Next to the red section, add the orange fruits (cantaloupe cubes, orange segments) to create the next layer.
  • Follow with the yellow fruits (pineapple triangles, mango slices) to form the subsequent band of your rainbow.
  • Place the green grapes and kiwi slices adjacent to the yellow, continuing the color progression.
  • Complete your rainbow with blueberries, blackberries, and purple grapes, ensuring to fill any gaps for a full and vibrant design.
  • Position the small bowls of honey-vanilla yogurt dip and chocolate hummus strategically on the platter, either at the ends of the rainbow or in the center.
  • Optionally, garnish with fresh mint leaves or use cookie cutters to create star shapes from melon or pineapple for an extra decorative touch; serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

For the best presentation, ensure all fruits are ripe and fresh. Arrange the fruits tightly to prevent gaps and create a visually appealing rainbow effect. The dips are a great addition, but the platter is delicious on its own as well!
