  • Cherry Tomatoes A handful of
  • 1/2 cup Edamame shelled
  • 1/4 cup Mini Pretzels or whole-wheat crackers
  • 1 Hard-boiled Egg sliced or halved
  • Grapes or Berries Small handful of
  • Silicone cupcake liners Optional: Small for separation

Preparation Steps

  • Spread the hummus evenly in the largest compartment of your bento box.
  • Arrange carrot sticks, cucumber slices, red bell pepper strips, and cherry tomatoes in another compartment to create a colorful vegetable medley.
  • Place the shelled edamame in a separate compartment.
  • Add the mini pretzels or crackers to a different compartment.
  • Neatly arrange the sliced or halved hard-boiled egg in its own section.
  • Fill any remaining small compartment with grapes or berries.
  • Optionally, use silicone cupcake liners to separate items, especially moist fruits from dry crackers.
  • Ensure all compartments are filled snugly to prevent shifting during transit.
  • Store the bento box in the refrigerator until ready to leave, then place it in an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack.
