  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz or 298g)
  • 2 cups Minute Rice, uncooked (340g) (or other quick-cooking rice/pasta)
  • 2 cups water (470ml) (for Minute Rice, check package for exact amount)

Cooking Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it apart until no pink remains.
  • Drain any excess grease from the cooked beef.
  • Stir in the onion soup mix and cook for another minute.
  • Pour in the cream of mushroom soup and stir until a savory sauce forms.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  • While the beef simmers, prepare Minute Rice according to package directions.
  • Serve the beef mixture over the prepared rice immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, you can add a splash of Worcestershire sauce with the mushroom soup. Feel free to substitute Minute Rice with other quick-cooking grains or pasta based on your preference.
