  • 1.5 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 medium head Cabbage
  • 28 oz can Crushed Tomatoes

  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Beef Broth
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper

Preparation

  • Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a large skillet; drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Slow Cooking

  • Transfer the beef mixture to a 6-quart slow cooker. Add the chopped cabbage, crushed tomatoes, beef broth, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine.
  • Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the cabbage is tender.

Serving

  • Stir well before serving.

Notes
