  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

  • Grate the sharp cheddar cheese if it is not already grated, as fresh grating ensures the best texture for your pimento cheese.

Mixing

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise, mixing until smooth and well combined.
  • Stir in the drained diced pimentos, finely diced jalapeƱos, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce, adding hot sauce if desired.
  • Gradually add the grated cheddar cheese, folding it into the mixture until evenly distributed and coated with the creamy base.
  • Taste the mixture and season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper, adjusting any seasonings to your preference.

Chilling

  • Cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the cheese to firm up for optimal texture and taste.

Notes
