Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper or silicone mats
  • Microwave-safe bowl or double boiler
  • Spatula
  • Toothpick (optional)

Ingredients

Main

  • 24 ounces white chocolate melting wafers
  • 15 cookies Oreo cookies crushed
  • 1 package candy eyes
  • 0.25 cup Halloween sprinkles
  • 8 pieces gummy worms

Variations (Optional)

  • 0.5 cup orange or green candy melts
  • 0.5 cup Halloween-themed M&Ms
  • 0.5 cup pretzel sticks broken up

Instructions

Preparation

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or silicone mats to prevent sticking and allow for easy removal.

Melting Chocolate

  • Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth, or use a double boiler for even melting.
  • Spread the melted chocolate evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, creating a smooth, thin layer.

Adding toppings

  • Sprinkle the crushed Oreos, candy eyes, Halloween sprinkles, and gummy worms over the melted white chocolate before it sets.
  • For streaks of color, melt orange or green candy melts and drizzle over the white chocolate, then swirl with a toothpick.

Setting and Serving

  • Refrigerate the bark for at least 30 minutes until fully set, or freeze for 15 minutes to speed up the process.
  • Once firm, break the bark into irregular pieces and serve, storing any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

Get creative with your toppings! You can add mini Reese's Pieces, pretzel pieces for a salty crunch, or other Halloween-themed candies. Ensure the chocolate is fully melted and smooth for the best bark texture. Working quickly once the chocolate is melted helps ensure the toppings adhere properly before it sets.
