  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or other plant-based milk
  • 1/2 cup mixed berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter no added sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/4 scoop vanilla protein powder plant-based or whey
  • walnuts or pecans A few for topping
  • maple syrup Drizzle of (very small amount, if needed)

  • In a small saucepan, combine the rolled oats and unsweetened almond milk.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes until creamy. Stir in protein powder in the last minute if using.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chia seeds and cinnamon.
  • Transfer the cooked oats to a bowl.
  • Top with mixed berries and a dollop of almond butter. Optionally, add walnuts or pecans and a drizzle of maple syrup.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your nutritious breakfast.

Notes

For a thicker consistency, add less milk. Adjust sweetness to your preference. This recipe is easily customizable with various toppings like other fruits, seeds, or nut butters.
