Description

Ingredients

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 inch ginger, grated

2 cloves garlic, minced

6 cups chicken or vegetable broth

1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)

2025 pre-made wontons (pork or vegetable)

2 green onions, sliced

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.

2. Add grated ginger and minced garlic; sautรฉ 1 minute until fragrant.

3. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.

4. Add the mixed vegetables; cook 3โ€“5 minutes until slightly tender.

5. Gently add the pre-made wontons to the simmering broth; cook 5โ€“7 minutes, until wontons float and are cooked through.

6. Season with salt and pepper. Ladle into bowls, garnish with sliced green onions, and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dash of chili oil when serving.

Great with a sprinkle of cilantro.
