  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 10.75 oz
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 10.75 oz
  • 1 can whole kernel corn 15 oz, drained
  • 1 can green beans 15 oz, drained
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or similar buttery crackers
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until browned and softened, then drain excess fat.

Assembly

  • Whisk together cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and milk in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Stir in drained corn and green beans, then add the cooked ground beef and onion; mix well and season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  • Combine crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter in a small bowl and sprinkle over the casserole.
  • Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the cracker topping.

Baking & Serving

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbling at the edges and the topping is golden brown.
  • Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving to allow it to set.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of garlic powder or paprika to the ground beef mixture. Feel free to substitute other canned vegetables like peas or mixed vegetables based on your preference.
