  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; toss to coat evenly.
  • Spread the seasoned shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  • Roast for 8-12 minutes until the shrimp are opaque, pink, and slightly curled, and the Parmesan is golden and crispy.
  • Remove from oven, transfer to a platter, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the shrimp for 15-20 minutes before roasting. Adjust red pepper flakes to your Spice preference. This dish pairs well with pasta, rice, or a simple green salad.
